"Where are you going this time?" they ask me all the time and I just simply smile and answer them "anywhere it takes my fancy". But I do ask myself nearly everytime I go to places, why do I travel? It doesn't really take me much time to find the answer though.
It may be a cliche and I know you all have heard this but I travel because I want to experience something new. Boredom is an adversary that I need to quell all the time and traveling to places helps a lot. I get to go on different trails from mountain paths to bricked roads to the road less travelled to find beautiful places with breathtaking sceneries, mindboggling histories and getting that feeling of satisfaction that you are at your journey's end and the next adventure awaits.
I travel because sometimes my stomach decided it wants a gastronomic escapade. The wonder of traveling is that I get to satisfy my hunger for food and better acquaint myself with the culture of a place through their gastronomic offerings. It's like killing two birds with one stone or in this case with baguettes, ciabattas and chimney cakes.
I travel to relieve the itch to take pictures. I am an amateur photographer and I love capturing people, landscapes and everything in between. I love to go back at peer own at them at the end of the day and feel again the emotion I had the moment I was there. Photos are mementos frozen in time and a handy piece of nostalgia.
Finally, I travel because I liked to be asked. I like when people ask me how my travels are, how did I get there, was it worth it, how was the food, are the people nice, was it scary, where are the photos, can we go there again and so many other questions. And I just take them in and answer these questions the best I can. It is through their inquiries that I get to share what I have experienced and learned.
Why do I travel? It's simple: It's because i'm bored, hungry, amateur photographer who likes to be asked about his travels. #FilAmazingTravel

I love your endless zest and quest for life. I have watched you grow and morphed into someone new. I saw the hunger in those adoring eyes and I knew since then that you are destined to travel far and wide and perhaps wild ? Go, my love and leave some footprints. Ablaze your path so others may follow. I will be cheering for you wherever you are and have gone in this full throttle of a journey we call life.
